Affiliate disclosure: how Race Pace Planner earns
Race Pace Planner is free to use and shows no ads. A few pages link to Amazon searches, and if you buy through one of those links we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
As an Amazon Associate, Race Pace Planner earns from qualifying purchases.
Which links are affiliate links
- A search link for running energy gels or a GPS running watch under the plan the calculators produce.
- A GPS running watch link in the section on watches that read long, on each goal-pace page (for example 4-hour marathon pace).
- Energy gel searches on the marathon and half marathon pace charts and the marathon and half marathon goal pages, and a GPS running watch search on the 5K and 10K pace charts.
- A GPS running watch search on the printable pace band page.
Each one sits next to a note saying it is an affiliate link, is marked rel="sponsored" for search engines and opens Amazon in a new tab. They go to an Amazon search for the kind of product, not to one chosen product, so no gel or watch brand is recommended by them. We do not use any other affiliate network today.
What it does not change
- Your splits. Every pace, split and finish time is computed by the site's own calculator code from the goal you enter. No link, brand or sponsor can alter a number.
- What the pages say about pacing. They are planning arithmetic, not coaching or medical advice, whether or not a link is nearby.
